The daily calorie intake gives a very accurate estimate of how many calories a user can consume daily to maintain their current body weight. The TANITA BC-601 takes into account the activities that a person performs on average each day. This measurement is unique to TANITA’s body analysis scales.

The segmental TANITA BC-601 makes further segmental measurements per body part in addition to the DCI. The results are shown for both arms, both legs and the torso.

All measurements are directly stored on the enclosed SD card, allowing users to clearly transfer the results to their PC or laptop. With the TANITA Software, this can be read out easily. In this way, the measurements are easily monitored over time, which is motivating for achieving health progression.
